Sewer pipe factory with robots
We have built a complete sewer pipe production installation for Kijlstra Beton. An essential part of this production line are our programmed robots: a brush robot that thoroughly cleans the mould and an oiling robot that oils the mould consistently and evenly.
The concrete production industry is a demanding environment where contamination from concrete residues, dust and cement is a daily problem. In particular, the joints, edges and fittings of concrete moulds must be absolutely clean before concrete can be poured again. In addition, a consistent and correct oil coating is essential for a high-quality end product and to ensure the pipes can be demoulded without any problems. For many years, this was always manual work.
Robots for reliable and consistent quality
KTB Machinery has developed smart solutions for this in the form of fully automated robotic applications. These robots clean and oil the moulds fully automatically, thereby preventing human error and improving product quality.
We programme all robots to make them fully tailored to the customer’s specific production environment. After installation, the robots are delivered to the site ready for immediate use. The customer will have a clear and comprehensive manual that explains all functions and settings in a clear way. Safety in production
The safety of the robots is an integral part of the safety of the entire production line. Smart use of light curtains in combination with status indicators on the robots guarantee that the robots can operate safely. Operators can still carry out work on the moulds, such as placing reinforcements.
