How does the Transport Mastercut system work?
The Transport Mastercut automatically transports and rotates stacks of paper and cardboard.
1. Transport to the correct position
Conveyor moves to the correct position and transfers the paper or cardboard stack to the belt conveyor. From this point, the stacks are automatically conveyed to the next zones.
2. Buffer zones – conveyor belt
The machine has a buffer area where stacks are temporarily stored on conveyor belts in order to:
- decouple the line
- ensure a constant flow
- absorb peak loads
This buffer structure makes the installation suitable for 24/7 production processes in the cardboard and paper industry.
3. Rotation station
Stacks of paper/cardboard arriving at the rotation station will be automatically rotated before being transferred to the next conveyor belt.
Construction of the rotation station
- Supported by castors and a robust turntable
- Rotated by a powerful pneumatic cylinder
- Conveyor belt with integrated drive
- Feed rollers connected to the same drive via toothed belts

4. Transfer to conveyor belt
After rotation, the stack is transferred to the conveyor belt which will transfer the stack to the next conveyor. The entire system is fully automatic requiring minimal operator intervention.
